Who you are agreeing with

GloMilBil is operated by Markon Global (Pty) Ltd, registration 2026/011426/07, of Plot 260, 55 Sea Cottage Drive, Randjesfontein, Midrand, Gauteng, 1683. When these terms say we or us, they mean that company. Using the website or the app means you accept what is written here.

What GloMilBil is

GloMilBil is a reading product. It carries the life stories of people who built something, written at more than one reading level and available in more than one language, with questions that mark what you have written and quote back the line you missed.

It is for reading and for learning. It is not financial, legal or career advice, and nothing in a story is a recommendation to do what the person in it did.

Accounts

You need an account to read in the app. Keep your sign in details to yourself; you are responsible for what happens under your account.

An account for anyone under eighteen is held by an adult. The adult who holds it is the person agreeing to these terms and is responsible for the account and for what the child does with it.

We can suspend or close an account that is used to break these terms. You can close your account whenever you like.

What you may and may not do

Read the stories, answer the questions, and use what you learn however you want in your own life. That is the point of it.

What you may not do:

• copy, republish, sell or redistribute the stories, the questions or the artwork, in whole or in part;
• use the content to train a machine learning model or to build a competing product;
• scrape the site or the app, or try to get at parts of it you have not been given access to;
• share one account so that people who have not paid can read.

Who owns what

The stories, the questions, the artwork, the name GloMilBil and the design of the product belong to Markon Global (Pty) Ltd or to the people we licensed them from. Reading them does not transfer any of that to you.

The answers you write remain yours. We process them to mark them and to show you your own progress, as described in the privacy policy.

Paid plans

Where a part of GloMilBil is paid for, the price, the billing period and what the plan includes are shown to you before you pay, and those are the terms that apply to that purchase. We do not take payment without showing you what you are paying for first.

Billing, cancellation and refunds

Billing. Silver and Gold are monthly subscriptions billed in rand by card through Paystack. The price and billing period are shown before you pay. Your plan renews each month on the same date until you cancel. If a renewal charge fails, the account returns to Bronze and nothing you have read or written is lost.

Cancellation. You can cancel at any time from your account page. You keep the paid features until the end of the month you have already paid for, and you are not charged again.

Refunds. We do not refund part of a month after cancellation. If you are charged twice, or charged after you cancelled, email the contact address on this site and we refund the full amount within 5 working days. Nothing in this section limits your rights under the Consumer Protection Act.

Accuracy, and what we do not promise

The stories are researched and checked, and where a subject has not confirmed a detail we mark it rather than assert it. Even so, we do not promise that everything is complete or free of error, and we do not promise that the product will always be available or uninterrupted.

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of GloMilBil. Nothing in these terms limits any right you have under the Consumer Protection Act or any other law that cannot be excluded by agreement.

Changes, and the law that applies

We may change these terms. When we do, we change the date at the top of this page, and if the change is significant we will say so rather than leave you to notice.

These terms are governed by the law of the Republic of South Africa, and the South African courts have jurisdiction.
